Beatle songs: Yellow Submarine by ric gustafson
One night, Paul was drifting off to sleep. He began to dream of different coloured submarines. He had always wanted to write a children's song. The finished song became their first sing along song. The lyrics were short words so it could be learned quickly. He wanted it to be sung by children.
The song was on the Revolver album. It was released in August 1966.
