Wicked nations plot to overthrow God. They want to oppose the Almighty himself. But God sits in heaven unthreatened and calm. Man's efforts to oppose God are ludicrous. God laughs.
But God has sympathy for man. God will triumph over evil. Any defiance of God and his will are futile. We need to submit to God and take refuge in him.
