Bible Questions: are you hiding from God? by ric gustafson
As fallen human beings, when we fail we think that we should hide from God. The truth is that we cannot. Adam messed up. So he tried to hide from God. He felt shame and could not face God.
When we mess up, God wants to run to him and not hide. He promises to forgive us, cleanse us and then restore us to fellowship with him. We are sinners and need God's forgiveness.
Genesis 3:9 says then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him " where are you?".
