bible verses: John 14:3 by ric Gustafson
In the previous verse, Jesus is telling his disciples that he is leaving to go prepare a place for them. The disciples were troubled, scared and trying to find out where he was going. He tells them to not have a troubled heart. He told them that he was leaving for the express reason of preparing a place for them. In John 14:3, Jesus tells us that he will come back and get us. He promises to return and where he is, we will always be. Praise God.
