Right before this verse, the disciples are scared and worried. Jesus has told them that he has to leave them. But he reassures them by telling them that he leaves his peace with them. He says my peace I give to you. He tells them that the peace he leaves is not of this world. He tells his disciples not to be troubled or fearful. We need that reassurance today. Praise God
