Fritz Hollmann page 2 by ric Gustafson
Fritz Hollmann had an Italian contact. His name was Kurt. Kurt booked passage for him on a ship called the ' North King'. The ship was to sail for Argentina on May 25 1949.
But there was a snag. The Italian official who was to sign Hollmann's exit visa had taken the day off. Hollmann was arrested and put into jail. Kurt bribed the Genoa police department. Hollmann was freed. The ship leaves with Hollmann on it.
On June 22 1949, the ' North King' docks in Buenos Aires Argentina. Hollmann now ' Helmut Gregor' could finally relax. Dr Josef Mengele ' The Angel of Death' was finally free.
