The relationship with our parents is very important. It shapes our other relationships. With parents, we learn authority and honoring them. With parents, we learn to live with other people. This is a serious commandment. To honor parents, we give them gratitude, obedience and reverence. We are to obey parents in the Lord. Praise God.
