According to Exodus 20, you shall not bow down to them or serve them for I the Lord your God am a jealous God. God tells us that he forbids self willed worship. We are not to make images or worship them. We are not to make man made artifacts to worship. We undermine God's freedom when we worship a different God image. God is a jealous God and does not want us to do that.
So how do we keep this second commandment?. We must guard against these self made images. Second, we should engage in corporate worship instead of self made worship. Lastly, we need to look to Jesus always. We need to worship God and God only. Praise God.
