When we try to discern truth from lies, we need to trust our heart. When someone lies to us, it is easy to distrust and find fault. Jesus says to love them instead. Jesus loves us with all tenderness. Jesus offers us spiritual cleansing through the Holy Spirit. Jesus says when love conquers lies, the truth through the Holy Spirit will comfort us and make us free.
