There are many different pizza styles. California style is thin crust with local fresh toppings. ST Louis style is thin crust and cut into rectangles. Chicago style is deep dish, stuffed, pan or tavern thin. Detroit style is rectangular and thick. Old Forge style comes in red or white. New Haven style is white clam pie. French bread combined pizza sauce, cheese and toppings. Pesto is crushed garlic, pine nuts and grated hard cheese.
Fried pizza could be ricotta and pork fat. Neapolitan pizza could be margherita, margherita extra or marinara. Roman style could be pizzetta, pizza con funghi or pizza margherita alla pala. Sicilian could be pan pizza similar to focaccia. Bianca could be olive oil and salt.

It is natural to fear death. It is the unknown. Jesus says to the thief in Luke 23 " today you shall be with me in Paradise". Jesus tells us not to worry. He says pray and spend time with me. Jesus will send us the Holy Spirit to prepare us for the transformation. Jesus will bless us with his love. We can love others. Jesus promises to prepare us for heaven. Praise God.

Yeshua was up early. He was anxious to see Yerushlem. He organized their wagon. Yosef packed up their tent. Yeshua led Mo and Mazel. The donkey's were tied together by a heavy wooden yoke. Miriam bought supplies for the next two days. This included yogurt, olives, dried fruits and nuts.
The caravan started out on the north south highway. Other caravans and travelers were soon joining them. All of a sudden, Yosef rolled his ankle on a paving stone. Yeshua helped him into the wagon. A doctor came and examined it. It turned out to be a serious sprain. The doctor wrapped the ankle and advised Yosef to stay off of it. Yeshua guided the wagon on the highway. He was amazed at all the people converging on the Holy City all at the same time.
By the end of the fourth day of traveling, Yeshua was tired.

When someone does us wrong, it is easy to feel hateful and vengeful. Jesus in Matthew 5 says love your enemies and do good to those who hate you. Jesus wants us to be beacons of his light and not with vengeful thoughts. We need to let Jesus take away our evil thoughts and replace them with his love and joy. We need to ask Jesus for pure thoughts. He will do that for us.

The caravan had now traveled for two and a half days. In the heat of the afternoon, Yeshua would nap in the back of the wagon. They were now a little more than half way to Yerushlem. Their provisions were getting thinner. By the end of the third day, they had reached Tephon.
In Tephon, they were able to eat, water the animals and refill their waterskins. They had to be careful and watch for con men and crooks. This was Yeshua's first look at the upper crust of society. As he watered their two donkeys, he was amazed at everything going on at this roadside inn.
All of a sudden, Yeshua was confronted by two beggars. He smiled and gave each a coin. His father set up the tents in the courtyard of the inn. Miriam, Yosef and Yeshua enjoyed a dinner of almonds, dates and figs. Tomorrow, they will be walking toward the Temple Mount of Yerushlem. They were within two days of the Holy City.

It was cold that night. Everyone was huddling around a fire. They had walked about fifteen miles that day. Six men were on watch that night including Yosef and Yeshua. As he guarded the fire, Yeshua began to carve another boat. He missed his friend Ezra.
When morning came, Yeshua was just about done carving John's boat. Just then, he heard a noise among the animals. He ran with his torch to check it out. He saw nothing. His father came over to check on him. The women got up and prepared a pot of barley. That morning, Yeshua enjoyed a special treat of salted dried fish from the Sea of Galilee. As the caravan started out, southern Samaria was wet and misty. As they walked closer to Yerushlem, the ground got drier. Before leaving Samaria, they watered the animals and filled up the waterskins.

No one knew much about Yosef's adopted son. People assumed that he was Yeshua's father. He and Miriam were married three months after the visit to Elizabeth. Miriam was a beautiful bride. She wore a dowry of gold coins across her forehead. She also wore beads of jewelry.
The first night of the caravan's journey, Yeshua and his father did the night watch. The second day of the journey would take them into Samaria. Yosef knew that they would not be welcomed there. Samaritans and Jews were enemies. Yosef knew that the sun would be hotter and the road steeper. Samaria was a land of vineyards and farms. Yeshua could see Mount Ebal and Gerizim as they traveled south. The caravan stopped for lunch near Shechem. There were 77 in the caravan including women and children.

Yosef took the news hard. He couldn't sleep for days . One day as he was taking a nap, an angel appeared.
" Yosef son of David" The voice hesitated. " Do not be afraid to take Miriam as your wife".
Yosef tried to speak.
The angel left.
Later, Yosef caught up with Hannah and Miriam as they had started their journey to Judah. He told Miriam about the encounter with the angel.
Hannah and Miriam continued on their trip to see Elizabeth.
Yosef went back to Nazareth. He had a lot to do. He was going to get married and soon have a son.

Yosef was 20 and Miriam was delighted with the news. Hannah gave an engagement party. Then Miriam became pregnant. Yosef was not the father. If the baby wasn't Yosef's, Miriam could of been stoned. The Holy Spirit was the father.
One night, God's messenger came to Miriam. It was the angel Gabriel. He proclaimed " Hail favored one, the Lord is with you".
Miriam was frightened.
" Do not be afraid for you have found favor with God".
She was too nervous to speak.
" You shall conceive and bear a son". His voice hesitated. " And you shall name him Yeshua".
" How can this be?".
" The child will be called holy the Son of God".
Then he mentioned that Elizabeth was also having a son in her old age.
Miriam smiled. " May it be done according to your word".

The caravan had traveled twenty miles that first day. Yeshua was whittling a piece of sycamore. He carried wood in a satchel on his belt. He planned to carve a little boat for his cousin John. He listened to his father as he told stories about Yerushlem. He was a direct descendent of David. There he learned to be a carpenter and mason. Yeshua listened as his father talked about helping build the Temple and the Herodium.
Yeshua knew his father had come to Nazareth at the age of 19. Then Yosef traveled north to Bethlehem to work with a friend named Nathan. One day, Yosef delivered some spindles to Hannah. There he met Hannah's daughter Miriam. Yosef courted her under the careful eye of Miriam's mother and uncle. After her 13th birthday, Yosef asked permission to marry her.

The caravan had traveled twenty miles that first day. Yeshua was whittling a piece of sycamore. He carried wood in a satchel on his belt. He planned to carve a little boat for his cousin John. He listened to his father as he told stories about Yerushlem. He was a direct descendent of David. There he learned to be a carpenter and mason. Yeshua listened as his father talked about helping build the Temple and the Herodium.
Yeshua knew his father had come to Nazareth at the age of 19. Then Yosef traveled north to Bethlehem to work with a friend named Nathan. One day, Yosef delivered some spindles to Hannah. There he met Hannah's daughter Miriam. Yosef courted her under the careful eye of Miriam's mother and uncle. After her 13th birthday, Yosef asked permission to marry her.

It is easy to be on your spiritual path and then all of a sudden veer off of it. Jesus says when the trials and storms of this sinful life comes, he says hold onto my hand. Sometimes we know what got us to stray off the path and sometimes we don't. Whatever it is, Jesus asks that we give it to him to get rid of. Jesus will lift our burdens and give us peace and joy. In peace, we can get back on the path.

John was waiting for his cousin. His family was from Ein Karem. His father Zechariah had passed away. His mother Elizabeth was old. It was five days from Nazareth to Yerushlem.
The family's caravan was going to take a direct route across the Zezreel Valley. From Samaria, the caravan would head south.
On the first morning of the trip, the caravan stopped at a main fork. One way went to Caesarea. Instead, the caravan headed south to the Plain of Esdraelon. They stopped at Sebaste. The caravan had enough food to eat for a week. They had dates, figs, almonds and olives. Each family carried fresh water. They watched for creeks to refill their sheepskins. The donkeys were led by Yeshua and his father. Their names were Mo and Mazel.

Yeshua was sad. His friend Ezra was very sick. It was decided that he would not travel to Yerushlem. He gave his friend the toy he had been whittling. His friend did get better. Yeshua felt sorry for him. Kids were always making fun of him.

There are times in our life when we feel depressed or ashamed. To fight that, sometimes we start bad habits in order to feel better. Before they become strongholds, Jesus says bring our bad habits to him. Jesus will send us the Holy Spirit to take away those bad habits. The Holy Spirit will fill up again our spiritual cup. The Holy Spirit will fill our empty cup with peace, love and joy. Jesus will do that for us if we ask him. Praise God.

Yeshua opened his eyes. He prayed. " I thank you living and eternal king great is your faithfulness". He got up, dressed and had fried honey cakes for breakfast. Then he left for school. He started when he was five. He would attend the Synagogue at daybreak six days a week. When he was older, he would stay after school more. He would tutor Ezra or another class mate.
By the time he was ten, Yeshua was taking advanced studies. He had morning and late afternoon classes. He studied the Torah written law and the Jewish oral law.
Yeshua had to run through the market place to get to Synagogue school. Yeshua and Ezra had been friends for several years. Yeshua was looking forward to traveling to Yerushlem. He had not been there since he was a baby.

On July 5 1942, Edith got a letter that their daughter Margot was to report for labor service. She quickly talked to Otto. They both knew that the day would come for them to go into hiding. The girls were instructed to pack a schoolbag each. The first thing Anne packed was a diary that she had gotten for her 13th birthday. Otto decided that the two floor annex above his business would be a good spot to hide the family until the war was over.
The next morning, the family along with Otto's trusted employee Miep Gies walked to the annex in the pouring rain. Before Gies locked them in, Anne took one last look outside. The family covered all the windows and made the annex a temporary home. Anne decorated her space with movie star posters. Otto wanted this new situation to be as normal as possible.

It was after dinner. Yeshua was sitting on the roof of the mud brick house. He had helped his father repair it last year. From the roof, he had a birds eye of the surrounding hill side of Nazareth.
Yeshua's skin was a deep dark brown and he had dark curly hair. He had a tan and his face resembled his mother's. He enjoyed carving horses. He was carving one for his friend Ezra. He was excited because he and his friend were finally going to Yerushlem for the Passover pilgrimage for the first time. That night, Yeshua joined his parents in prayer. As Charlie neared the finish line, he could feel his stamina increase. He glanced toward the right. He noticed a small set of stands near the finish line. He noticed some people starting to sit down. As he neared the tape, he saw Noah, Moses and Uncle Frank sitting in the stand and cheering him on. As he went through the finish line tape, he knew he could not of made it without those people cheering him on. He smiled knowing he had finished the race.

Charlie slowly ran up to the nine mile marker. He knew he could not go any farther. His legs hurt and his eyes were stinging from the heat.
Just then, he noticed the water station tent. He ran under the flap.
An old man, wearing a faded white robe and carrying a wooden staff, smiled and handed him a cup of cold water.
" You look thirsty young man".
" I am". He gulped down the water. " I'm also very tired".
" I know what it's like to be in intense heat and not have much to drink".
Charlie stared at the old man. " You look like Moses in the desert".
" It's interesting that you said that". He handed some water to another runner. " Because my name is Moses".
" You mean the burning bush Moses".
" That's right Charlie". He smiled. " I'm here to give you encouragement".
" Encouragement?".
" I'm here to encourage you to run those last three miles and not give up". He hugged Charlie.
Charlie ran out of that tent with renewed vigor.

Charlie could feel it in his legs. The heat was affecting his running and his legs were getting tired. ' I want to quit this race' he thought to himself as the six mile marker came up. He began to slow down. He was about to stop when he saw the water station tent coming up.
He slowly walked in. He was handed a cold cup of water.
" How are you Charlie my boy?".
He looked up to see the smiling face of his favorite uncle.
" Uncle Frank". He gulped down the water. " What are you doing here?".
" I am here to encourage you". He smiled. " So you will stay in the race and not give up".

The gun went off and he began to run in the middle of the pack. Because of the heat, at three miles he dropped out of the pack. He was already thirsty. Up ahead, he noticed a water station. He stopped under the tent.
A grizzled old man handed him a cup of cold water.
Charlie quickly drank the water. " Thank you".
" Your welcome". He handed another runner a cup of water. " My name is Noah".
Charlie scratched his chin. " Noah?".
" I'm here to give you encouragement".
Smiling, Charlie ran out of the tent with renewed vigor.

On May 10 1940, Hitler invaded Holland. Otto kept Margot and Anne at home. Five days later, the girls went back to class. Arthur Seyss Inquart was appojnted Reich commissioner. June 19 1940, Anne turned 11 years old. Otto opened a new warehouse near Amsterdam's Westerkerk Church. In January 1941, new Jewish restrictions began. Jan 10, all Jews in the country had to register. May 1941, Jews were banned from public beaches and swimming pools. Aug 1941, Margot and Anne had to attend a separate school from Dutch students. In June of 1942 Anne turned 13 years old. By the end of that month, Adolf Eichmann wanted to start transporting Jews to Auschwitz. Anne was excited for July 5 1942. She was going on a morning date with an older Jewish boy. Anne had no idea what was coming later that afternoon.

In June of 1942 Anne turned 13 years old. By the end of that month, Adolf Eichmann wanted to start transporting Jews to Auschwitz. Anne was excited for July 5 1942. She was going on a morning date with an older Jewish boy. Anne had no idea what was coming later that afternoon.

" What banquet is this?".
The angel smiled. " Jesus is honoring men and women who all died in faith".
Charlie scratched his chin. " So who are they honoring?".
" Abel, who gave an excellent sacrifice unto God".
Charlie grinned. " I learned about him in Sunday School".
" There's Enoch who did not die but went right to heaven".
" Who else is being honored?".
" Noah, Abraham and Sara".
" I better get home". Charlie glanced at his watch. " I need plenty of sleep for the race tomorrow".
Michael gave him a hug. " Good luck tomorrow".

In December of 1933, the Frank family settled in a third floor apartment in Amsterdam's River Quarter. Anne and Margot got used to the Dutch language and made new friends. Their new school was only a ten minute walk. In June of 1934, Anne turned 5 with a big birthday party. Anne, along with two friends, did everything together. Everyone was welcome at the Frank's home.
Otto was now working for his brother in law's company as a traveling salesman. To make some extra money, the Frank's rented out one of their rooms. Anne struggled with her health. She had whooping cough, chicken pox and constant flu.
When 1938 came, life for Jews in Europe became much harder. By 1939, it was feared that Hitler would invade Holland. Hitler invaded Poland on September 1. On May 10 1940, German troops entered Holland. The Frank family became very worried.

There are times in this life when we will be lonely. In those times, Jesus says come to me. In John 14:18, Jesus says I will not leave you as orphans I will come to you. When we feel lonely or sad, Jesus says give those thoughts to me. Instead of those bad thoughts, he will give us peaceful joyful ones. Jesus loves us more than anything else. Praise God.

Annalies Marie Frank was born in Frankfurt Germany on June 12 1929. Her parents were Otto and Edith Frank. The Frank's eldest daughter was three year old Margot. Anne grew up with wild dark hair, protruding ears and an infectious laugh. Otto gave Anne much love and attention. Otto was the son of a millionaire. His mother Alice was from a well to do family. The Franks were a Jewish family on the outskirts of Frankfurt. The Wall Street crash of 1929 hurt the Franks wealth.

It is easy to have fear and doubt in this sinful world. But Jesus says not to let it have rule over your life. He will send the Holy Spirit to us. Jesus says surrender our fear to him. He says give me all of your fears. Jesus will shower us with love instead. Our fears will be swept away. We need to rest our souls in Jesus and he will flood us with his love.

It is easy to feel distressed or even disgusted at our earthly bodies. With age, they break down and there is nothing we can do about it. We should not envy another person's looks, we are all in the same situation. We need to concentrate on our inner spiritual part of the body. The Holy Spirit will guide and nurture this part of the body. Our inner and outer part of the body can come together. We need to pray to Jesus every day. He loves 100 percent of us inner and outer.

Insults can emotionally harm us. Jesus proclaims that he will protect our faithful heart. Jesus says do not worry. If we live for Jesus and for Jesus, we will never be alone. When we are ridiculed by others, we need to forgive and let Jesus take it away. Jesus wants us to keep our hearts in the right place. The Holy Spirit is always with us and Jesus. Praise God.
