Lydia page 4 by ric Gustafson
Jason's home was a two story villa on the outskirts of town. He and Lydia sat down in the open courtyard. He told her stories of Hercules.
All of a sudden, Jason's mother walked in.
" My son tells me that you help in your father's business".
Lydia grinned. " Yes, my lady".
" He tells me that the business is purple dye".
" Yes, that is right".
" My son tells me that no one helps you".
Lydia frowned. " We cannot afford help".
She smiled. " I would be happy to help you with your business so you can hire some help".
" My father is stubborn". Lydia grinned. " I will ask him".
