Proverbs: Proverbs 2:1-2 by ric gustafson
We can easily hear Scripture. But do we fully understand the meaning and intention behind the words?. If we want to understand wisdom, we must take the time to listen. Proverbs 2:1-2 says my child listen to what I say. So how do we listen?. We must listen with thoughtful consideration. How much of our prayer time is like that?.
Our parents try to instruct us. They have their best at heart when they do that. God our Father is the best at parenting us his children. We know God's intentions are good. We know God's intentions are for our good. God says I love you listen to my wisdom. Adopt them in your heart.
