My name is Cleopatra. You can dislike me, love me or hate me. I was born a girl and a goddess. I will be a future queen. I have enemies. Including members of my own family.
But I am not entirely alone. Charmian is with me. She has been my slave and my servant since I was born. She tends to me. We are inseperable. When I began to speak, I chose her name. Charmian means giver of joy. She is my slave. She does not want to be free. We are chained by love.
I belong to her also.
