When you read Psalm 18:2 what comes to your mind. David writes physical elements that convey spiritual realities. David writes the Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer. My God is my rock in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation my stronghold. David uses pictures to express deeper thought. He conveys pictures to deepen our understanding.
