Roy was reading the newspaper when he heard the doorbell ring. He opened the door to reveal a young boy dressed as a pirate and a young girl dressed like a princess.
" Trick or Treat" they both yelled. They both stuck out an orange pail.
Roy picked up both baskets. He opened the screen door. " Would you like a candy bar or a Devil's Food zinger?".
Then Roy heard the voice.
" Roy, what are you doing?".
He smiled at the children. " Handing out Halloween treats".
She walked toward the door. " Put down those zingers!". She gave him a stern stare. " Think about those children's interests instead of your own".
He put down the basket of zingers. He put a candy bar into their pails.
" Thank You". They ran toward their parents waiting for them at the edge of the driveway.
The next morning, Roy was handing out Devil's Food zingers to his co workers/
