Yeshua was carrying the flayed lamb as they reached their camp. A fire was already burning. Miriam cleaned the lamb with water, olive oil, rosemary and other spices. Yosef put the meat above hot coals. Everyone was cooking lambs and kid goats. Women were baking unleavened bread. Eating that night consisted of feast of lamb, unleavened bread, bitter herbs and chicory.
As they ate, the story of the Exodus was told. The Rabbi told a story of Passover and Israel's exodus from Egypt. Yeshua knew that Passover was the start of a journey that led to God's mercy, freedom and salvation. The Seder wine was continuing to flow during the night.

Jesus is always ready to spend time with us.

It is frustrating when we try to help others to no avail. Then we feel like why put the effort into it. Sometimes when we put all of our effort into others, we give less to Jesus. Jesus says don't do that. Jesus wants us to love others. But if our love for Jesus fades, we must make a decision. Do we love others less and more with Jesus?. Jesus wants our love and he wants us to love others. Jesus will help us with that emotional balance. He will.

When we were younger, it was easy to feel as if we were unloved. We want a sense of control in our hearts. Over time, we begin to convince ourselves that we are unworthy of love from anyone. Jesus does not want us to feel that way. In God's eyes, we are beautiful. He loves us so much he sent his only Son to die for us so we could be with him forever. God loves us more than anything else.

Irena graduated from college in 1931. Not long after, she married Mietek Sendlerowa. In English, she became Irena Sendler. The couple began to build a life in Warsaw. She enrolled in the social welfare program at the University of Warsaw. She signed up for a community internship at the Polish Free University. She began to study under Dr Radlinska. She began to be friends with a Jewish male named Adam. Riots started at the University of Warsaw because of new laws against Jewish students. Her new friends at the University included Ala Grynberg, Rachela Rosenthal and Ewa Rechtman.
She and her new friends talked about social justice all the time. Her marriage eventually unraveled and she spent more time with Adam and her new friends at the University.

When someone does something to us, it is natural to feel resentful and want to strike back. Jesus warns us not to do that. When we harbor anger in our heart, it can linger and then fester. Jesus's love will not be able to work in a torn and sinful heart. Anger that grows and is not stopped will rob us of joy. Jesus says please do not do that. There should be joy in our heart instead.

You trust God now trust in me. Jesus will do that for us. Praise God.

The storm on the Sea of Galilee was getting worse. The disciples were scared. Then they were in shock. Jesus was walking across the water. He invited them to get out of the boat and join him. Only Peter got out of the boat. Jesus wants us to surrender our fears and join him on the water. The problem is when our faith gets weak and we begin to sink. Jesus says stay focused on me. I pray that we will go out of our comfort zone and meet Jesus on the water. Praise God.

Sometimes we wonder about the whole timeline of our spiritual lives. We wonder what it is coming around the next bend. But Jesus says do not worry about that. He simply asks us to dance with him. That's it just dance with him. He did that with his first disciples and that's what he does with us. Usually, Jesus does not tell us the end of our dance. But he has told us where we are going after our dance. Those who have given their lives to Jesus will be with him forever in heaven. That is the end of our dance. Praise God.

Life was hard after Irena's father passed away. Her mother tried her best to provide for them. Her mother tried to run the family's medical clinic. Eventually, they had to close the clinic and move to Piotrkow Trybunalski which was near Warsaw. Piotrkow was a busy market town on the rail line from Warsaw to Vienna. The city was a hotbed of left wing politics and patriotism. Irena and her mother moved into an apartment on Maja Avenue. At the time, Irena was ten years old. Irena was enrolled in the local Middle School. Irena's first boyfriend was Mieczyslaw Sendler. Both Irena and Mieczyslaw enrolled at the University of Warsaw in 1927.

Irena Stanislawa Krzyzanowska was born on Feb 15 1910. She was born at a Catholic hospital in Warsaw Poland. Her father Stanislaw Henryk Krzyzanowski was a doctor in infectious diseases. Her mother Janina was a young woman without a profession. Stanislaw was a member of the Polish Socialist Party. He graduated from medical school in Kharkov Ukraine. The family moved back to Poland and he began to treat Jews and non Jews equally. Irena began to play with Jewish children and learn Yiddish. Irena's parents owned houses all across Warsaw. In 1916 when Irena was six, typhoid fever struck the city. Irena's father kept helping those who contracted it. Later in 1916, Stanislaw caught the disease. On February 10 1917, Irena's father died.

When I'm dancing with Jesus, I try my best. My rhythm is not very good. But I feel safe dancing with Jesus. I don't have to worry about my feet or where he is leading me. But sometimes I step on his toes. But Jesus does not mind. When we stumble, he picks us up and we start again. We stumble when things come up in our life we cannot control. Financial trouble, job loss and death happen. Through the trials, Jesus was dancing with me. Jesus loves you and me more than anything else.

When Irena Sendler got into the black prison car, she knew exactly where it was going. Szucha Avenue was the address of the Warsaw Gestapo Headquarters. Irena knew how brutal the place was. It was October 21 1943 and it was early morning. She was sleeping soundly when 11 Gestapo agents pounded on the door. For hours, the agents tore up her apartment. They were looking for the lists she had of the children. The lists contained on cigarette paper were the names and addresses of thousands of Jewish children she had saved. She had given the lists to her friend Janka just before the raid. Irena knew she would be killed. No one ever returned from Gestapo Headquarters. By late 1943, Warsaw was in ruins. Earlier in the spring, the Jewish Ghetto was leveled to rubble. She had been part of a resistance cell started at the Polish Free University. She knew that if she talked, all the children she had saved might be killed. No matter what the Gestapo did to her, she would not talk.

When Anne and Margot arrived at Bergen Belsen, they quickly found out it was worse than Auschwitz. The camp was already overcrowded so they had to sleep in a tent with no toilet or bed. The two sisters reunited with friends Rebekka and Jannie Brilleslijper. They became friends at Westerbork.
Physically, Anne became worse. Both her and Margot contracted typhus. This disease spread by lice swept the camp. Both sisters became sick with fever, muscle pain and rashes. In late February or early March 1945, Anne and Margot Frank died from the typhus. Their bodies were burned by the Nazi's because of the disease. Edith Frank died from starvation at Auschwitz. Otto was the only member of the family to survive. Because of Miep Gies holding onto Anne's diary, it has become a legacy of a young girl who believed that the world was still decent and kind.

All of a sudden, the cattle car doors opened. As sunlight flooded the car, the people were ordered to get out fast. They were ordered out and to leave their luggage behind. Soon, they were all standing on a ramp. Instructions came through a loudspeaker. Children, the old and the ill were instructed to get into waiting trucks. These trucks took these people directly to the gas chambers. Those left had to form two lines. One line for men one line for women. Anne joined her family on the right. Those not so lucky were sent to the left. These people were sent to the gas chambers. Anne and the other women were sent to Auschwitz II Birkenau. They had to go through disinfection and then have a number tattooed on their left forearm. Anne and her sister only stayed in Auschwitz for six weeks. In October of 1944, the two girls were transferred to Bergen Belsen.

On August 4 1944, Anne's world shattered. At 10:30 am, Gestapo with guns drawn stormed Otto's business. Officer Karl Silberbauer arrested Edith, Otto, Margot, Anne, Peter Van Pels, Hermann and Auguste Van Pels and Fritz Pfeffer. On the floor was Anne's writing which was in Otto's briefcase. They were given five minutes to gather their things.
The eight were taken outside to a windowless truck. They were held in an Amsterdam jail until August 8. On that day, they entered a train bound for Westerbork. This was a transit camp in Northern Holland. Finally, they arrived at the dusty and bleak camp. It was crowded with 16,000 people at any time. The eight were registered and assigned to a punishment barracks. Edith, Margot and Anne were assigned to take apart batteries. By August 25 1944, they were still at the camp. On September 2 1944, their luck ran out. 1019 people including the eight were shoved into windowless cattle cars. Each car was filled with 70 people. There was no room to sit or lie down. There was hardly any water or food. After three days, their journey ended.

Yeshua was up early. It was the day of the Passover sacrifice. Thousands would be waiting at the Temple to sacrifice lambs and kid goats. All animals had to be without blemish. Lambs had to be at least eight days old and no older than a year. Because he was a first born, Yeshua was going to fast today. His parents were going to let him eat at lunch time. Later, he could have yogurt and butter. Because of God's Passover laws, he could not eat leavened bread.
Yeshua went with his father to the Temple. Yeshua had their Passover lamb on a short leash. Yosef explained to his son what was going to happen. He was very sad when he heard what was going to happen to the lamb. He told his father that he thought this huge sacrifice was inhumane to animals. Yosef was amazed at his son's concerns about the sacrifice process. Yeshua held onto the lamb until the last moment. He was not happy about it but it had to be done. He felt sorry for their Paschal lamb.

As sinful beings, pride is in our lives. It starts out small and then grows like a weed. Jesus says give it to me and we will weed it out together. Jesus will take away our pride.

Bonnie watched as the bus stopped. Wearied riders got off tired from the five hour bus ride. Then a man with slick back hair walked out. He hobbled off the bus using a cane. He saw Bonnie and smiled. They embraced. Bonnie told Clyde that she had already found him a job at the Palace Theater.
That night, Bonnie walked into Clyde's parents apartment carrying work clothes she had made for him. They talked for hours. The next day, he told her the police had come to the theater during his first shift. They took him to the station to talk to him. She had failed to tell Mr Johnson about Clyde's crutch.

Bonnie Parker was typing a letter to Governor Sterling. In the letter, she was pleading to him to reduce the sentence of Clyde Barrow. She was doing this in the apartment of Clyde's parents. After she was done typing it, Clyde's mother signed it. Smiling, she walked out and began to walk toward the post office.
As she walked, she remembered the day she helped Clyde escape from prison. They caught him two weeks later. Because of the escape, he faced fourteen years instead of five. Bonnie could not imagine being gone from him that long. She was hoping that the letter would possibly pardon him or greatly reduce his time. Later, Bonnie received a letter stating that Clyde Barrow would be released on Feb 2 1932 with a conditional pardon.

Otto and Anne tried to make the 800 square feet space a home. They unpacked boxes, filled cupboards and made things as nice as possible. Otto put heavy black cardboard on the windows. They were so busy, Anne did not have much time to think about her new surroundings. Otto set a routine schedule. Everyone was up by 7 am. Only four employees including Miep Gies knew about the hiding place. By July, the family watched as 6000 Dutch Jews had been deported to Auschwitz.
On her 13th birthday, Anne received the gift she wanted most of all. This was a diary with a lock. That evening, she wrote her first entry. Miep Gies brought Anne library books every Saturday.
By August of 1943, Anne was writing complete short stories from start to finish. By April of 1944, she was anxious to have her stories published. She could hardly wait for the war to end.

To those who hurt us, Jesus says pray for them in love. The Holy Spirit will bring us the truth. The truth will set us free. Jesus says love me and I will put love and joy in your hearts. Jesus is always with us.

Instead of studying our outward appearance, Jesus wants us to look on the inside instead. Jesus looks at our heart not our outside body. What matters to Jesus the most is our heart. Praise God.

According to the Apostle Paul, this is an unseen spiritual battle. These angels fight against the fallen angels of Satan. To protect ourselves, we are warned to put on the full armor of God. These angels also govern angels in the lower order.

Even when we are busy doing God's will, sometimes we can begin to feel bored and listless. We begin to move away from doing his will and lose our way. Jesus says don't do that. This negative thinking could lead us off of our spiritual path. Jesus encourages us at this point to come back and get on our spiritual path. Jesus will help us do that if we let him. Praise God.

Yeshua was up early. He was anxious to see the Temple of his heavenly Father. He was also anxious to see his cousin John. John was now about thirteen and he and Yeshua had become close friends. He was tall for his age, broad shouldered and looked like the son of a farmer.
When Yeshua saw his cousin, they embraced. John told him that his mother would greet them at the Temple. John gave Yeshua a rock from the old Temple. Yeshua gave his cousin the boat he had been carving.
After a while, they began to walk toward the city's eastern gate. Their first stop was the Valley of the Cheesemakers. Yeshua listened to the merchants as they hawked their wares. The family and John stopped at the mikveh near the Temple's south wall. This was the cleansing bath which was a ritual before entering the Temple. John knew a moneychanger named Uriel. Only Tyrian shekels were permitted in the Temple. Yosef handed him some coins. For exchange, they were given two stacks of silver shekels. Yeshua was anxious to go inside.

Sometimes gossip can make us hurtful and want revenge. With our harmful words, we can make the situation worse. Jesus says to reconsider retaliation and let him take care of it. We cannot control the choices of others but we can control our own heart. If their is hate and revenge in our heart, Jesus says let me change it. He can change our heart to love not revenge and hate. Praise God.

It's easy in this sinful world to have sinful thoughts and feelings. Temptations easily become sins. It is easy to feel guilt and sorrow. Jesus suggests something else. Jesus says relax in me and I will take away our sorrows and pain. He will send us the Holy Spirit to help with our temptations. Jesus says come to me and relax in my arms. Our joy in Jesus will replace negative thoughts and feelings.

Early that Sunday, Yosef was the first to wake up. He had fashioned a crutch for himself. He wrapped his ankle in cloth bandages. Miriam and Yeshua woke up. They said their morning prayers, washed up and ate a light breakfast. The doctor advised Yosef to stay off his ankle for one more day. Yeshua helped his parents into the wagon.
The caravan briefly stopped for lunch. By mid afternoon, Yeshua was able to see the Temple in the distance. When they had come only a mile from the city, they could see the four walls of the Temple. As the caravan reached the northern gate of the city, Yeshua could see the Antonia Fortress. Yosef decided to camp at the Mount of Olives. His friend Abner was the grove master. The first half of the caravan's journey was over. They celebrated by singing Passover psalms and dancing.

These angels oversee galaxies, stars and the earth. These angels have been sent to impact God's wisdom. Praise God.

The caravan stopped at an inn near Gabaon. It was less than ten miles from the Temple. The inn was packed because it was close to the Holy City. They set up camp in the late afternoon. Yeshua tied up the donkeys and watered them. Miriam and Yosef purchased food. Some of the women were baking bread.
Yeshua helped his parents pitch their tent. Miriam unwrapped her husband's ankle bandages. It was swollen and throbbing. He soaked it in a bucket of cold well water.
The inn was completely full. Several caravans were staying there as well. Miriam, Yosef and Yeshua enjoyed a quiet meal of fresh bread, fish, cheese, dates and figs. That night, Yeshua woke up from a bad dream. Miriam held him tight until he went back to sleep.

Flour for pizza could be All Purpose, Bread or 00 Flour. Six simple ingredients for pizza are salt, olive oil, water, yeast, flour and baking soda.  Neopolitan crust is a thin layer of crispness. New York crust is thin in a coal gas oven. Sicilian crust is baked in a tray with olive oil. Throwing the dough stretches it and helps with the amount of moisture in the air. Pizza cheese includes, Mozzarella, Provolone, Parmesan, Pecorino, Ricotta, Cheddar, Emmental and Provel. Pizza toppings include mushrooms, pepperoni, potatoes, sausage, bacon, olives and tomatoes. Pizza leftovers are great in the morning. If you can have pizza, enjoy it. I do.

Jesus loves us more than anything else. Jesus understands us when we feel lonely or dejected. He felt that way when he was here on earth. We are rejected by others, Jesus feels rejected. When we hurt, Jesus hurts. Jesus says come to me. He will bring us comfort and soothe our souls. Jesus's light will chase away our darkness.
Jesus asks for us to listen for his quiet voice. He loves us more than anything else.
