Matthew 12:18 says ' Look my Servant whom I chose'. Jesus is the servant whom God has chosen. Isaiah 42:1-4 talks about a gentle servant who cares about helpless and unwanted people. Matthew is quoting this scripture because Jesus healed the sick after confronting the Pharisees.
The true strength of Jesus is his mercy and love. Jesus as the Servant cares for us daily and loves us more than anything else.
