Colossians 1:15 says ' The Son is the image of the invisible God, the one who is first over all creation'.
Jesus is the image of God. Through Jesus we can see and understand God who is our Creator. In John 14:9, Jesus says whoever has seen me has seen the Father.
Jesus is God come to earth. What we know about Jesus is also true about God. When we learn, love and follow Jesus, we learn about God.
