" What did he say Robert?" Charlene asked as she observed the young man entering the ship. " What did the officer say?".
" His name is Officer Lightoller". Her brother grinned. " He found our name in his notebook".
" I hope our room is nice".
Robert grinned again. " It's on B Deck".
" Where did our trunks go?".
" A porter took them to the purser's office".
They began to walk up the ramp. They stopped at the officer with the notebook. He tipped his hat. " Hello, I am Officer Lightoller".
Charlene stared at the officer. " What do you mean by purser's office?".
" They will process your boarding pass". He tipped his hat again. " And then they will direct you toward your room".
" Thank you officer".
" No problem". He smiled. " Enjoy this beautiful ship".
Charlene and Robert walked up the ramp to the entrance. There they were met by a White Star steward.
" Hello I am Chief Steward Larimore". He tipped his hat. " One of my stewards will take you to the purser's office".
Charlene smiled. " Thank you".
