The Lamb of God was the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of all people. According to John 1, Behold the Lamb of God. He covered every sin by the power of his blood. He redeemed us with his sacrifice. He did not come to condemn us. He came to set us free.
The Lamb of God is the true Passover Lamb. His blood is our covering. He spares us from judgment and death. He delivers us from the consequences of sin. He gives us freedom to live, move and have our being in the power of his sacrifice. He was victorious over death. He lay down his life to break it's power.
So who is the Lamb of God?. It is Jesus Christ whom I love.
