No Time prelude

No Time prelude by ric gustafson

Bryson Mitchell pulled the Ford Esport into the empty stall. He was in a hurry. He had to buy a few groceries and then get back to work. He glanced at his new watch. It was a present he had received for his birthday. He noticed that the time had stopped.
" Now what" he muttered to himself. He shook the watch. " This was a birthday present".
He pondered what to do. He could go back to work and worry about the watch later. Or he could find someone who could fix it quickly.
He glanced around the parking lot. Then he smiled. He saw a telephone booth. " I thought they were extinct". He got out of his car and began to walk toward it. He began to worry. He had to get back to work.
