Apostle's Creed: God the Father by ric gustafson
In the Apostle's Creed are the words ' God the Father almighty'. The Father of Jesus Christ is God the Father. God is a living and personal God. Christians worship and adore God. Some people claim there is no God. The statement of faith says yes there is a God. God is described as the Father. He is the Father of Jesus his Son. God cares for us and guides us. God is with us throughout life. God in a way is like a human father. And in some ways he is not. Genesis 1 says we were made in the image of our heavenly Father. God knows our weaknesses and problems like our earthly fathers. God is not a human being. God created heaven and earth. Everything in the world was created by God.
God the Father loves us. He always has. He always will. God loves us more than anything else.
