Margaret opened the phone book to the restaurant section. She began to thumb down the page.
" Hi Mom" David Sower walked in and put his backpack by the kitchen door. He noticed his mother was looking at the phone book. " What are you doing?".
" I'm going to order pizza for your brother's birthday".
David smiled. " His favorite is ham and pineapple".
She smiled. " I know". She grinned when she found the number she wanted. " How was bible class this afternoon?".
" It was ok". He sat down and began to munch on an apple. " Pastor John did the lecture".
" Did you understand it?".
" It was about the book of Psalms".
She opened her cell phone. " Did you understand it?". She began to dial the number.
" I guess". He frowned. " Not really".
He picked up his backpack. He walked upstairs to his room.
