Psalm 23: the Lord by ric gustafson
David starts this Psalm saying who he believes in and loves. He loves Yahweh. That is God's name and David loves him. God says I Am. God never changes and he is our shepherd. God never changes. He is uncaused and ungoverned. We need a Yahweh. We need a God who never changes and who we can always count on. We have one. His name is Yahweh the God David and I love.
