Psalm 34 says keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Some are given the gift of a ready tongue. Sometimes people say hold your tongue. We can control our tongues. We have a choice. We can hurt people with our words. Or we can subject our lips to God. Our words are an expression of our hearts. God will help us keep our lips from evil. God wants to change us.
God loves us more than anything else.
