There was a young Moabite widow named Ruth. Her mother in law was Naomi. One day, a wealthy influential man named Boaz met them in Bethlehem. He was kind to Ruth and cared for her. Eventually, he married her. Boaz was called a family redeemer and married Ruth who was a poor widow in his family. Because Boaz married Ruth, she became a direct ancestor of Jesus.
Boaz was a man of the Bible.
