No Time page 9

No Time page 9 by ric gustafson

" A grain of sand?".
Mr Hinkle smiled at Bryson. " This grain of sand has been through the ravages of time".
" What do you mean?".
" This grain of sand has been battered by wind, water and ice over the centuries".
Bryson stared at the sand in his hand. " Sounds like you love studying this".
" I've always been enthralled with the concept of time".
Jessica stared at her watch. " Bryson, we need to go".
Mr Hinkle smiled as he shook Bryson's hand. " Every person and speck of sand is important to God".
They turned to leave.
" Remember Bryson".
" What's that Mr Hinkle?".
" There is no time in heaven".
Bryson looked at Jessica as they got into the Ecosport. " That's the same thing Father Time and Mrs McHenery told me".
