We were not built for guilt. God never intended us to be bogged down with guilt. We cannot handle it very well. Jesus came to redeem us from guilt. He bore, paid for our guilt. According to Romans 6, we have been set free from the power of sin. When we do sin, we need to admit it and then receive forgiveness. God loves us more than anything else.
